Northern Lights Music Lab is a hands on music education program for schools, designed for groups of up to 5 or 6 students. Students learn instruments, songwriting, music technology, recording and live performance while building a real band from the ground up. They create a band name and logo, write songs, make a music video, learn basic music business skills, and finish by performing a live gig.

| Special Notes | This hands on program gives students the opportunity to experience what it is really like to be in a band, from creating a name and logo to writing original music, learning covers, recording a video, performing a live gig, and learning the business side of music, including contracts and technical riders. Instruments and MIDI equipment are included for every student. |
Scotty Swan is a professional musician, producer, and music educator with decades of experience performing, recording, and teaching. He brings real world music industry experience into the classroom, helping students develop their music skills.
