Students will learn a traditional African dance to a recorded drum piece from West Africa.

Sassi is from Mali, West Africa. He is a singer/composer, and plays the bamboo flute, djembe drum and some guitar. Sassi know several traditional dances from Mali, Africa. He also creates fabric art known as bogolan, or mud cloth. This works well for either wall hangings or t-shirts.
