“ Make each day your work of art. Be true to yourself, Help others and Give thanks. ”
I am an artist living in the Yukon - Canada's Far North. My joy is to create authentic, beautiful & original paintings; am mostly self-taught. I have been painting seriously for about 25 years using water media (watercolour, acrylic & mixed media). I paint what inspires me, moves me, and animates me. I paint what I see; the mountains, lakes, ponds and vistas around my home - the beautiful Yukon Wilderness in an impressionistic and realistic style.
Living off-grid is a way of life that affords me peace, simplicity and solitude - all an integral part of my creative process. Our cabin is nestled in the spruce trees, by the Magundy River and in the Pelly Mountains.
It is a dream come true that I can make my living as an artist. Living daily in the wilderness, in the moment, creating one painting at a time..... this is my world. I welcome opportunities to give back what I can through my paintbrush to my community and the world. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me.
