Born in a small northern village in Quebec, Joe La Jolie arrived in the Yukon in 2009. A multidisciplinary artist and self-taught since a young age in circus (fire dance) and visual arts, she nevertheless completed most of her college and university studies in Arts and Letters, majoring in theater and creative writing.
