Artist-in-Residence Extended Project
Duration: One Week (40 hours)
Artist Helen O’Connor will set up an interactive studio space in your school for a week. The studio will have equipment for papermaking, collage, painting, and printmaking. In that time, she will become a lively part of your school community as she meets with classes, small groups, and individuals to create a whole school project. Teachers can sign up in her weekly schedule for predesignated times that their class can experience the studio, learn techniques, create, and participate in the project. Students, staff, and parents are encouraged to come to Open Studio sessions offered at selected lunch times, after school or evening.
