DYA - Kelly Scott and Sarah Cloutier

Kelly Scott

Kelly Lynn Scott has lived in Whitehorse for over 10 years, bringing a diverse background as a trained Montessori teacher and on-the-land program facilitator. She specializes in teaching to children of all ages and abilities, creating an inclusive environment where every child can explore at their own pace.
Growing up in Ontario, Kelly Lynn enjoyed ballet, jazz, and Irish dancing. Today, she draws on her personal journey to inspire children to trust their choices and listen to their inner voice.
Kelly Lynn is passionate about partnering with educators to support children's social-emotional growth and inclusive learning. She is dedicated to creating a positive, empowering space where every child can shine through dance.

Sarah Cloutier

Sarah is a bilingual facilitator who offers workshops in both French and English. Sessions can include fully francophone playlists, making them well suited for French classrooms. She has lived in the Yukon since 2015. She brings together her background in social work and psychotherapy, her experience as a mom, and years of experience facilitating groups.
In her private psychotherapy practice, Sarah has a special interest in trauma, interpersonal relationships and somatics. She is also involved in therapeutic movement and has organized community dance events in Whitehorse. Her clinical training and experience supports her in creating trauma-informed workshops and adapting to different groups and needs. She integrates emotional literacy into her sessions.
