Kidzrock

Scotty Swan

Kidzrock is a nationally acclaimed music program that teaches ages 4-7 how to play an instrument in the setting of a rock band.  A whole new age group can now experience the thrill of performing to a cheering crowd.

Kidzrock is a music program that teaches children as young as 4 how to play an instrument in the setting of a rock band. Band members rotate on drums, electric guitar, and keyboard as they prepare to sing and play in an end-of-session concert . Each band sings and performs songs featured on the Kidzrock CD. Children learn how to read color-coded standard music notation while playing on modified instruments for smaller sized hands.

The program creates a unique experience by combining instruments, theory, singing ensemble performance and rock 'n roll fantasy all rolled into one. Purchasing an instrument is not required.

Kidzrock kids learn the basic mechanics of guitar, drums, and keyboards, how to read notes on the treble clef, percussion, improvisation, singing in tune, musical dynamics, musical terminology and how to play in a rock band.
