Drawing: Making Your Mark

Drawing is a process of making marks on a page to create an image which could be realistic, imaginary, or abstract. 

Goal: to understand the uses of different drawing tools such as pencils, graphite, ink and charcoal. Each tool offers a range of ways to use it. This class will explore and experiment with different drawing materials and tools. Each class will have a project topic or theme to be decided on in class and will have a finished drawing to take home.

Material RequiredVariety of drawing materials - pencils, coloured pencils, graphite, pen and ink (for older grades). Artist can provide some materials if they are not available in the school.
