Rebecca Law has worked as an animator, short film producer, recording artist, vocalist, song engineer, and songwriter for the past 15 years. She has collaborated with many artists, musicians and producers, and worked in many classrooms across the Yukon.

Stencils with Gorellaume with Gorellaume
In this workshop students will learn about stencils: choosing the image, planning the stencil, cutting (including safety measures). They will also learn how to use the stencil on various mediums (such as t-shirts, vinyl records, pieces of fabric, objects, etc).Eventually, a more complex version of this program can be run: learning to cut a 2 or 3 layer stencil, and /or creating a larger stencil. IMPORTANT : Cutting stencils requires a long time. It's the hardest part of this workshop while using the stencils goes quickly. Please keep that in mind when applying for this workshop.

Community School Touring Program
The Community School Touring Program sends performance artists to every Yukon community school. The goal of this program is to expose children to types of performance art they may not regularly encounter, with preference given to acts that have an educational component.
CSTP impacts hundreds of students each year and provides important and inspiring opportunities for youth in Yukon communities.

About Artist in the School
The Artist in the School program (AIS) provides Yukon school children with the opportunity to be instructed and inspired by practicing artists and to learn to work with a variety of art forms and media. It is available to all Yukon elementary and secondary schools, including 21 schools in Whitehorse and 14 in the communities.
