Wet Felted Landscapes with Johanna Rosolen

Felting

Older students will create a simple landscape drawing and transfer their idea to a fabric base. Students will then layer pieces of raw coloured wool on top of one another to interpret their original idea. Students will use the process of wet felting to complete their project. Younger students will take a less detailed approach and can explore the process of layering the colours of wool. Their projects will focus more on expression and process and will take on less of a representational quality.
