Songwriting 101 with Barbara Chamberlin

This class covers the basics of songwriting: melody, rhythms, words, feel, structure, and more. Starting with lyrics, it centers on what the student wants to say and then adds the other elements until the students are able to write a song of their own. The class performs their own songs for each other over the course as time allows and can hear how the other songs change.
