Rebecca Reynolds is the Principal and ballet master at the Northern Lights School of Dance. She began her Cecchetti Ballet training at the age of 3 at the Red Deer School of Ballet under the instruction of Irene Weatherilt. She began teaching at age 14 and went on to obtain her Dance Diploma from Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton. Rebecca joined the cast of the Frantic Follies in Whitehorse in 2000-2006 working her way to the show’s choreographer. She is particularly interested in sharing the benefits of dance to young boys where students are focus on jumping, turning and a masculine movement. style along with the strength and agility required in addition to camaraderie and teamwork. Kate Fitzgerald has been a teacher and choreographer in the Greater Toronto Area for over ten years. She has completed a degree in kinesiology, where she studied movement and the human body extensively. Since then Kate has created unique and inspirational dance pieces for festivals, charity events, school teams, and many competitive dance companies. She has also created routines for synchronized swimmers, gymnasts, cheerleading teams, figure skaters, and wedding parties. Kate recently completed her education degree in physical education and dance which has led her to work within many different schools teaching dance curriculum on a variety of levels.
